Editorial Policy

The Scientific Journal for Publishing in Health Research and Technology (SJPHRT) is committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct in all aspects of its publication process. Our editorial policy is designed to ensure the quality, fairness, and transparency of published research.

1. Peer Review Process

  • Double-Blind Peer Review: All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. This means that both the authors' identities are concealed from the reviewers, and the reviewers' identities are concealed from the authors. This process helps ensure unbiased evaluation.

  • Reviewer Selection: Reviewers are selected based on their expertise, reputation, and absence of conflicts of interest. We strive to select a minimum of two independent reviewers for each manuscript.

  • Reviewer Responsibilities: Reviewers are expected to provide constructive and timely feedback on the manuscript's originality, methodology, validity, significance, and clarity. They must treat the manuscript as confidential and declare any potential conflicts of interest.

  • Decision: Editorial decisions (acceptance, revision, or rejection) are based on the reviewers' recommendations and the Editor-in-Chief's final assessment.

2. Ethical Guidelines

  • Authorship: Authorship should be based on significant contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research. All listed authors must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to be accountable for all aspects of the work.

  • Plagiarism: SJPHRT has a strict zero-tolerance policy against plagiarism. All submissions are checked using plagiarism detection software. Any instances of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, will lead to immediate rejection and potential sanctions.

  • Originality: Submitted manuscripts must be original work and not previously published or under consideration elsewhere in any language.

  • Data Accuracy and Fabrication: Authors are responsible for the accuracy of their data. Fabrication or falsification of data is strictly prohibited and will result in severe consequences.

  • Conflicts of Interest: All authors must disclose any potential financial, professional, or personal conflicts of interest that could influence the research or its interpretation.

  • Human and Animal Subjects: For studies involving human participants, authors must confirm that the research was conducted in accordance with ethical guidelines (e.g., Declaration of Helsinki) and received approval from an appropriate institutional review board (IRB) or ethics committee. Informed consent must be obtained from participants. For animal studies, authors must adhere to relevant ethical guidelines and institutional animal care and use committee (IACUC) protocols.

  • Confidentiality: Reviewers and editorial staff must treat submitted manuscripts as confidential documents and not disclose any information about the manuscript to anyone outside the peer-review process.

3. Publication Decisions

  • Fairness: Manuscripts are evaluated solely on their academic merit, relevance to the journal's scope, and adherence to ethical guidelines, without regard to the authors' race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy.
